Crossing Stories, a project focused in the potential of digital storytelling to exploit culture differences with the refuge community
Crossing Stories training aims at bringing together youth workers specialized in working with refugees, and/or storytelling, and/or digital tools, and provide them with a space and time to learn how to facilitate digital storytelling activities. The activities will focus on developing the participants skills in leading digital storytelling workshops with refugees, as a non-formal tool for inclusion. The training will be constituted of interactive exercises based solely on the experience and expertise of the participants on youth work with refugees as well as storytelling using digital media.
The project activities are based on experiential learning and non-formal education methods with interactive exercises as well as sessions based solely on the experience and expertise of the participants. It will be designed in a way to make use of the potential of everybody and to also ensure a smooth peer-to-peer learning process among the participating youth workers.
