Crossing of ideas

One of the art teachers at Fazola Henrik TISzK has already participated in the Youth in Action Programme (Fiatalok Lendületben Program); so it inspired us to organize a similar programme to Miskolc. The applicant for the project is the Kós Károly Vocational School from Miskolc which is one of the four schools of Fazola HEnrik TISzK. The financial background would be provided by the integrated vocational training centre retrieving the needed money from the EU.
The management of the TISzK would like to cooperate on organizing and arranging projects with non-governmental and youth organizations.

In the Youth in Action our topics and themes would adopt to the priorities of the year 2012. We are to provide the theme of creativity and enterprise development with the help of the youth from different countries in a playful way.
During the course handicraft programmes would take place such as leatherwork, ceramics, woodcraft, and tasks developing individual creativity. As for recreation, canoeing and horseback riding would be provided. Free times activities would give a chance to visit both the local sights and wine cellars, too.
The EU provides the support for both full-board and accommodation; however, the cost of travel must be paid by the participant. For the youth of the Western European countries this amount does not mean any problem but we would like the cross-border Hungarian young people to come and join the course.

Project name: Crossing of ideas

We are looking for project partners; one country can offer one potential project partner. The young people wishing to take part must be between the ages 13 – 25. From one project partner 4 – 6 students and one or two teachers could participate in the art camp. The international camp will take place from 7 August 2012 to 17 August 2012 and the Hunguest Hotel Palota would be expected to give place for the event.

Our goal is to allow these arts program for disadvantaged young people to participate in Youth in Action Programme.
