Critical Thinking Roadshow - Youth for online resilience in V4 and Western Balkans

Call for Slovak partner form Bratislava for a Visegrad+ youth project about critical thinking and online safety

Objectives
- Enhance critical thinking skills among youth: empower young people with analytical tools to question, evaluate, and verify the information they encounter online.
- Strengthen media literacy and fact-checking capacity: raise awareness of how online disinformation spreads and how to detect and counter it effectively.
Foster intercultural dialogue and resilience to extremism: create safe spaces where young people can explore cultural differences and build mutual understanding.
- Build cross-border youth networks for social impact: encourage lasting collaboration between young people and youth organisations across the V4 and Western Balkans.
- Raise visibility of youth-led action through digital campaigns: support youth-driven storytelling and outreach on social media platforms.

Activities:
1. Partner meeting in Budapest, Hungary (2 days, 2 participants/country)
2. Critical Thinking Roadshow: 14 days (+2 travel days) long mobility roadshow (route: Poland-Slovakia-Hungary-Serbia-Montenegro) with workshops, cultural evenings and local actions; 3 youngsters + 1 youth leader/country
3. Online campaign: 2 weeks long Instagram campaign about combatting disinformation and strengthen critical thinking (stories, posts, reels)

Critical Thinking Roadshow:
• Travel day from home to Krakow - 2 full days in Krakow - travel day to Bratislava - 2 full days in Bratislava - travel day to Budapest - 2 full days in Budapest - travel day to Belgrade - 2 full days in Belgrade - travel day to Podgorica - 2 full days in Podgorica - travel day from Montenegro to home
• Activity days: 10, travel days: 6, 16 days in total
• Each partner will be responsible to organise activities around the topic of critical thinking, active participation and digitalisation for the group, including a national cultural evening, workshops, and a local action in which local youth can also participate (e.g. mini conference, study visit, flashmob, outdoor activity…)
