Creativity in Rural Areas

Our project is aimed at addressing youth mental health and social inclusion in rural areas through art, culture, and creativity.

Blooming Horizons is a youth-led organisation based in Gran Canaria dedicated to fostering personal growth, emotional well-being, and community connection through culture, creativity, and non-formal education. We design meaningful learning experiences that empower young people to develop resilience, leadership skills, and a deeper sense of belonging. Our mission is to create inclusive spaces where art, nature, and youth participation intersect. We work actively to strengthen local communities while building bridges across Europe through strategic partnerships, Erasmus+ projects, and youth-led initiatives. With a strong commitment to innovation, social impact, and accessibility, Blooming Horizons aims to inspire young people to become leaders of the community who contribute to healthier, more connected, and culturally vibrant communities.

We are looking for partners working in rural areas for a Youth Exchange that we will submit next February call. This project is aimed at addressing youth mental health and social inclusion in rural areas through art, culture, and creativity. This project is designed as a replicable model at local, regional, national, and international levels, strengthening transnational cooperation among European organisations committed to emotional well-being, non-formal education, and youth participation.

Specific dates are to be decided.
