Overall Object:
The project Create and Preserve is a Youth Exchange founded on the theme Culture and Sustainable development. It serves as a springboard to acquire the basic knowledge of the artistic practices while respecting environmental and socio-economic sustainability and intercultural diversity. The project carried out in a playful style and located at a place solidly attached to the nature follows the objective to promote intercultural dialogue and better intercultural comprehension and cooperation through artistic creating. It equally aims to raise youngsters’ awareness of the European active citizenship and to encourage them to be more involved in environmental issues. By participating in artistic workshops, discussions and others joyful activities youngsters will discover in which way the common interest in arts and nature can become an important factor for better understanding and closeness between European nations. The exhibition of the participants’ artistic works as one of the result of the project will be installed.

Youth Exchange objectives:
1. Teach the participants about the conception Culture and Sustainable development through the non-formal education
2. Allow youngsters to confront theirs opinions on the mentioned issue and to compare the specific approaches of their original countries
3. Support the young participants in their artistic realizations and develop their creative skills
4. Raise young public awareness of environmental issues
5. Foster learning of foreign language as French or English
6. Enable youngsters to be personally a part of multicultural environmental
7. Encourage young people’s European active citizenship

Methodologies: working groups, workshops, role games, reflection groups, discussions

Partner’s Profile: “Tambour Battant” will choose its partners according to the following criteria:
- Non-profit organizations, youth organization and/or informal group of young people;
- Experience in creation of event and/or project for the promotion of art and culture, at local/international level.
- Experience in the youth field;
- Experience with people with few opportunities;
- Knowledge of English and French languages in order to facilitate the communication;

Working conditions:
- Working days: 5
- Travel days: 2
- Travel expenses : travel tickets will be reimbursed at the return of the participants back in their countries, within the limit of the Erasmus+ lamp sums;
- Accommodation and food : 100% covered by Erasmus plus funds;
- Participation fees : no participation is required from the participants;
- Materials: provided by the coordinating organization. Other material can be brought by the participants;

Team composition:
- 1 Trainer;
- 1 Facilitator;
- 6 group leader.

Youth between 13 and 30 years old: young people passionate of art (fine arts), interested in environment issues as well as youth with fewer opportunities. Basic knowledge of English or French is required for the participants, the youth leaders should have an intermediate level of one of these languages.
