Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Restoraion Awareness Training Course

Max 35 participants between 18-30 years old Both youth workers and young people will be expected to communicate in English.

The number of participants has been planned totaling 35 people as 6 people from each of 5 countries. The participant profile consists of equal numbers of male and female participants in the 18-30 age group, excluding the group leader.The most important feature sought in guests are those who are interested in the subject of the project, art lovers, those who are interested in cultural heritage and art history students. Apart from these, it is intended to have people who are respectful to different cultures and EU values, willing to participate in the project, and have an empathic and researcher spirit. Also, all participants from each partner country are individuals with limited opportunities.In addition, all participants from each partner country are individuals with limited resources. Participants are planned to be selected from among people who are compatible with EU values, respect human rights and differences, sensitive to disadvantaged individuals and compatible in human relations. 1. Ceramic Workshop: Application training will be taken from a ceramic artist. 2. Illustration of ceramics and small findings unearthed in excavations * Thanks to the artwork drawings to be given in the workshops, students; * Will be able to make a practical evaluation on drawing techniques of archaeological finds. * Will be able to evaluate the basic concepts in ceramic drawing. * Will be able to formulate ideas about the importance of ceramics in archaeological excavations. * Will be able to distinguish ceramics according to their typology. * Will be able to distinguish and evaluate ceramics according to their pot forms. * By using basic drawing knowledge in excavations, they will be able to have the ability to improve themselves further in drawing. 3 Victims of Time: Conservation / Restoration of Books and Volumes * To gain experience for the student by working on the first interventions will be applied on papers. * * To gain the knowledge of preparing reports to determine the reasons of destruction by examining the damaged manuscripts in libraries, museums, collections and archives. * Identifying skin damage * Repair of losses in caps and skins of books. 4.Wood Meeting with Art and Kalemişi Restoration Workshop * Familiarization of wooden materials and decoration techniques from wood master. * Hand drawn restoration and conservation application workshop 5. I Keep Seljuk Designs Alive * Creating a booklet about understanding the patterns in Seljuk Tiles and Ceramics 6. Sketching on stone works * It is one of the most important methods for better comprehension of ornaments and inscriptions. 7.Kubadabad Palace Excavation Site Visit *They will see how the archaeological excavations were carried out, which teams they consisted of and the first interventions made in the excavation area.5
