The Partner-Finding Tool
What is art? How can we define art? Why is something called art? Participants will be challenged to think and learn from each other through debate(s).
With this project we would like to stimulate the participants from different countries/cultures to think and discuss about the definition of ‘art’.
What is art? How can we define art? Why is something called art? What kind of developments can be distinguished when we look at the art(history) of the respective participating countries? Are there differences or similarities which can be described? This matter will be addressed in an educative and fun way. Field trips, discussions and presentations will be the center of this project.
Participants will be challenged to think about these questions and learn from each other through debate(s). It is important to realize that everyone has a different perspective or opinion. Seeing as we would like to stimulate all kinds of view with this project, we will look into different angles and forms of (modern) art.
At the end of youth exchange participants will write a short essay on their concept of art, while receiving support from group leaders and other participants.
