CASE is looking for volunteers for our Research and Communication activities
We plan to involve volunteers in two types of activities:
1. Communication/ project management:
Communications:
- Assisting in organizing and carrying out CASE seminars;
- Draft communication summaries and website updates;
- Assist in updating CASE social media profiles;
- CASE publications database management;
- Help to improve media relations;
- Assist with various tasks related to website modernization.
Project Support:
- Assist the Application Team in preparing Research and/or Technical Assistance project applications (preparing tender documents, liaising with researchers and experts, etc.);
- Assist the Application Team in identifying new project opportunities (monitoring calls for tender/proposals, contacting potential donors, etc.);
- Assist project managers in organizing project events and workshops.
Other:
- Timely help in other daily CASE activities (publications, research assistance, etc.).
2. Research:
- Provide assistance to project teams during the conceptualization and execution of different research projects, including data analysis, statistical and econometric interpretation, drafting of analytical papers, providing literature reviews, case studies, summaries, etc.;
- Support the research team and application team in writing research proposals; and
- Provide help in the conceptualization and implementation of a new database and modeling system for CASE.
Nonetheless, the volunteer's ideas on new activities and possible improvements of existing ones will be welcome.
