Participation will be open to youth worker, youth leaders, volunteers, who work mainly with young people having the possibility to learn, develop or improve their skills in order to promote and launch new quality projects under the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme on the topic of the social inclusion in order to involve and aware the young people they are working with in their local environment. The needs express by youth workers who work in the field of social exclusion with young people has brought to the development of this project and its activities. The phenomena of exclusion and the necessity related by the boost of social exclusion rate among young people in the European Countries, origin by insecurity in living standards, political and social isolation, feelings of estrangement and unhealthy lifestyles, surge of unemployment rate among young people. And now European landscape in which young people are in even more danger of suffering from additional material deprivation, social and emotional marginalization. With this training we aim to increase the skills and the background of the Youth workers, whom can offer opportunities to young people, to prevent and to remedy the social exclusion.
Objectives:
- to discover country realities about marginalization and policies on social inclusion at country level;
- to explore and share good practices about the importance of youth work in facing social exclusion;
- to draw new activities and workshops to be used by youth workers in their local realities to prevent and fight social exclusion;
- to provide participants effective tools/methods to increase the impact of youth work in promoting inclusion;
- to raise awareness on the added value of diversity at local, national and European level;
- to learn how to apply Erasmus + programme as a tool for social inclusion;
- to build a network of youth workers active in promoting social inclusion and its benefits for the whole society.
Non-formal education methodology will be used for this training course which will be based on open and interactive approaches and directly aiming at creating a safe learning environment for the participants giving them the opportunity to interact an stimulate them work in a multicultural reality.
With the help of the trainers which will bring issues, facts and theoretical material, participants will be stimulate to reflect, share ideas, analyse in order to achieve more skills, competences and knowledge and with new attitudes and dedication to their role of youth workers.
The participants will be involved in the dissemination phase of the result of the activities and project learned ad plan during the training course, to spread them not only among the local communities but also among other youth workers working in the same realities and facing social exclusion of young people and policy makers which are asked to benefit from the result of the training and use them while planning new strategy for combating social exclusion and marginalization.
The work group will gain new competences, concerning mutual understanding, autonomy, communication skills . Participant also will return home with more skills, competences and knowledge about project making process with focus on the use of Erasmus+ Programme and possibilities that Programme. That will give capacity to participants to offer to young people more space to participate as active citizens of their community and of Europe.
