colorful streets

Call of partner from Georgia August 2017 , Baku

In today's world, youngsters spend most of their time in front of computers by playing games or communicating in the cyber world. We believe that technology, as a life easing tool, captures our lives and as a result causes psychological and sociological problems. In order to prevent these kind of problems, we aim to create new social surroundings for them according to their interests. We will try to achieve our goal with "Street Arts" and also give them social messages during the process.
Youngsters from different countries will work as a group and do activities as the followings;
-Preparing dramas to attract attention to drug addiction
-Preparing trekking and photography activities
-Organising street concerts
Thanks to the mini concerts, young people will have the chance to get to know other countries' folk music and dances. They will build self-esteem and maybe use these experiences as a step to unemployment. Through the art festivals that we will organise, local people will discover new cultures and get integrated with the art branches, so they will encourage children and youngsters to take place in artistic activities. Our art festivals will include Painting and Photography Exhibitions, Folk Dance Shows, Concerts and Drama Shows. The participants will disseminate their experience in their own countries. The activities will also be shared on our website to attract people's attention and spread them. On the other hand, the street activities will be designed peculiar to the interests of youngsters to attract their attention. To be able to make as many people as possible involve in the activities, there will be advertisement and publicity works.
During this project different countries, languuages, religions and cultures will meet at the same point. They will work and share together without gender discrimination, which, to us, will be a gool model in the national and international scope.
As to the number of the participants, there will be 5 partner organisations including 25youngsters and 5 leaders. The participants will be experienced and competent in art branches, such as music, art, photography, drama and folk dances and the group leaders will provide them with the necessary support. During the activities each participant will share his/her cultural competence with the others and be trained by the leaders when necessary. The folk dance group will learn a different dance type from the other partners whereas the music group will play the songs of partner countries . What is more, art and drama groups will be formed by each partners' members and be trained by the expert leaders.
In the beginning of the activities there will be a seminar to give information to the participants about the activity plan.
-Before the activities and mobility the youngsters will be asked to search the culture of partner countries to adapt easily.
-English, which will be the common language, will be spoken actively, but the participants will also learn more about the native languages of the partners (daily routine structures, greetings.. etc.).
-Leaders will organise orientation seminars for youngsters who will get to know each other's cultures and cooperate.

- The participants will be inolved in every stage of the project so they will learn the necessary methods and technics and as a result prepare their own project in the future.
- On the very last day, by using the awareness about art that will have been raised by our project, we, as all partners, will ask for help from the municipality about employing the young people and investing money in artistic activities. This attempt will be a good opportunity to sustain our project. Besides, we will invite all the Non-Govermental Organisations in our cities to the studies about art.
