The training course guides youth workers on a journey of self-discovery to support the co-creation and long-term sustainability of healthy communities.
In the name of the Shen Dao Association, we are excited to invite you to become partners in the following training adventure.
The training course aims to guide youth workers from across Europe through a journey of self-discovery to equip participants with the skills and competencies necessary for the co-creation and long-term sustainability of healthy communities.
The course will help to bring more harmony on the levels of the body, the emotions, and the mind through movement (tai ji and qi gong based martial art practices) and meditation. We will follow a three-phase journey, increasing self-awareness and offering opportunities for gaining deep experiential understanding regarding participants’ relationship with themselves and how they engage with others and with society at large.
Youth in Europe is increasingly encountering the problem of disconnection and alienation. During the course, youth workers will have the opportunity to not only reconnect with themselves and increase their resilience but also learn techniques that can help to support youth in increasing their feeling of belonging and community participation.
The Shen Dao Association has been active in the field of youth work since 1989, successfully reaching people across Hungary and sustaining a community of members and volunteers who have been learning and moving together over the period of many years.
