CMSIE - Contact Making Seminar for Inclusion in Europe

Location: Tenerife, Spain
20 Participants from 10 countries (at least half from European islands)

Description: This Contact Making Seminar is an opportunity for those involved in the youth field to exchange ideas of common interest on European and national priorities regarding youngsters with fewer opportunities. It aims at making better use of EU funds, especially Erasmus+, to support social inclusion, antidiscrimination and accepting diversity.

The objectives of the seminar is:
1. To promote social inclusion in Europe and get a better understanding of European mobility programmes in achieving this goal
2. To match make European partners who are interested in developing youth projects related to social inclusion and discrimination.
3. To reinforce collaboration and networking between the participants, facilitate the exchange of good practices and create new partnerships
4. To create a meeting for potential partners that would like to develop projects under key action 1 and 3 of the ERASMUS + Programme.
5. To develop specific proposals for future projects through the Erasmus+ Programme

Participants: decision makers, coordinators, directors of European youth NGOS

We are preparing to present this project for the 2nd of February 2016 Erasmus+ Deadline.

Priority will be given to NGOs based in European Islands.
