empowering youth exchange to led climate action in Africa and europe, adopt sustainable lifestyles and foster intercultural learning
This Erasmus+ KA1 youth exchange empowers youth aged 15–30 to lead climate action in Africa and Europe, adopt sustainable lifestyles, and foster intercultural learning. Participants from Ghana and European countries will engage in experiential workshops, peer-learning activities, and youth-led environmental initiatives such as tree planting, recycling campaigns, and climate advocacy projects.
The project promotes knowledge exchange, practical skill development, and cross-cultural collaboration, enabling participants to understand and address environmental challenges from both African and European perspectives. Coordinated by a European partner, ORECA will mobilize and prepare Ghanaian participants, while supporting follow-up activities in local communities.
By combining youth empowerment, climate awareness, and sustainable action, the project seeks to equip young people with the skills, motivation, and networks to create meaningful environmental impact locally and internationally, while strengthening intercultural understanding and youth collaboration.
