CHANGING 4 THE CLIMATE

During the 7 days + 2 travelling days of the project, the 30 participants (including group leaders) will participate in talks, workshops, debates and activities that will have as a topic the climate change: causes, consequences, and how to fight against it. All this accompanied by the discussion and reflection of the situation in each country and the initiatives that are being carried out there.

MAIN GOALS
By participating in this project young participants will be able to:
1.0. Build a critical opinion regarding climate change.
1.1. Identify several causes and consequences of the climate change.
1.2. Get to know other projects and strategies done by other countries in the EU.
1.3. Develop and create actions that can be done in order to improve the climatic situation.
1.4. Acknowledge the importance of the emotional dimension in collective living.
1.5. Develop the ability to create positive emotions in other people.

DATES
The APV will take place in March 2020. The YE will take place from the 6th to the 12th April 2020.
PARTNER ASSOCIATIONS’ PROFILE
While there are no specific requirements related to country participation, we would rather create partnerships with organizations like:
• Environmental Associations. As the project will be focused on the environment and climate change, we would appreciate the participation of organizations that might have already some projects about this topic.
• Inclusive associations. We highly appreciate the participation of every kind of people in our projects, and we think that is it important to disseminate the fight against climate change to those who normally don’t have access to this information. For any association that works daily to achieve inclusion in all its forms will be welcome, especially if it works with young disadvantaged people or that have mobility difficulties.
• Non formal education. Any association specialized in outdoor non formal education. Even scenic arts are important in this youth exchange, as being able to make the participants reflect and come to conclusions about what they are working on is a very valuable trait in this project.
