We are looking for partners with expertise in one or more of the following areas: digital technology, AI and digital literacy; gender-based violence and victim support; communication and digital campaigns; public policies on gender equality and youth; and legal expertise in digital rights.
Interested organisations are invited to express their interest with the expertise areas they can cover, a brief overview of their relevant experience, and the CVs of the professionals who would participate in the project.
Please note that participation is limited to organisations established in countries eligible under the CERV Programme.
Project Objectives: To prevent and combat gender-based cyberviolence facilitated by Artificial Intelligence, such as deepfakes, deep nudes and sextortion, along with the hypersexualization of youth digital environments by strengthening digital literacy, fostering positive narratives and promoting cross-sectoral cooperation in line with the EU Gender Equality Strategy and the VAW Directive.
The main objectives of the project are:
• To develop the competences of youth workers and other frontline professionals working with young people to identify early indicators of AI-driven cyberviolence, provide trauma-informed support and activate secure referral pathways.
• To equip young people with critical digital literacy and prevention skills, empowering them to deconstruct online toxic masculinities, reject digital harassment and co-create positive counter-narratives and digital content.
• To design, test, adapt and transfer tools and methodologies to prevent and tackle AI-driven gender-based cyberviolence in young people.
• To strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation between non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, youth centres and relevant authorities to reinforce positive environments and promote gender equality online.
