CERV-2025-CITIZENS-CIV Citizens for Europe

We are looking for a partner from Netherlands, France, Luxumburg, Germany, Belgium and from Azores-Portugal.
Main aim: To strengthen citizens’ sense of belonging to the European Union and promote their active engagement with the challenges, policies and everyday impact of the EU through participatory activities.

The main objectives of the project are:
To encourage active citizen participation in shaping the future of the European Union, reflecting on its challenges and opportunities;
To enhance young people’s awareness of the EU’s impact and importance on their daily lives;
To foster critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving by reflecting on everyday scenarios where EU policies are directly applicable;
To create a network of organisations from five European countries committed to improving people’s knowledge, understanding and sense of belonging to the European Union.

Duration of the project: 16 months (expected starting date of the project: beginning of 2026)

Partnerships:
Iniciativa Internacional Joven (Spain) is the applicant of the Project. We plan to involve four other organisations with expertise and experience in the project’s topics.
