Supporting young parents (under 30) through exchange, training & professional support, focusing on emotional well-being, mental health, and the first 1000 days.
This project aims to support young and future parents (mainly under 30) through spaces for exchange, support, and training. The objective is to enhance the well-being of both parents and the professionals supporting them, by creating workshops that address topics such as emotional management, postpartum depression, and the specific needs of parents during pregnancy. The project also seeks to train professionals in a comprehensive and preventive approach to parenthood, focusing on listening to the individual needs of young parents.
At the European level, this project encourages the sharing of good practices and the creation of support networks to improve assistance for parents and their children from the earliest days of life. Parent groups will be organized in safe spaces that promote expression and mutual support, helping to break isolation. Meetings with healthcare professionals (midwives, pediatric nurses, psychologists) will provide personalized responses and promote the overall well-being of parents.
The project also includes training for professionals on supporting young parents, emphasizing the recognition of mental health needs and the challenges of parenthood. It promotes a preventive and integrated approach to improve family support during the first 1000 days of a child's life.
