Career Guidance and Social Integration for Refugee, Migrant, and Disadvantaged Youth

We are looking for partners for our project (KA-152) application!

Project Objectives:
• To develop mutual understanding and solidarity among refugee, migrant, and disadvantaged youth from six different countries.
• To create a peer-based learning environment that fosters intercultural dialogue and respect.
• To raise awareness and skills related to 21st-century competencies: communication, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving.
• To explore and compare integration and migration approaches in different European contexts.
• To empower young people to take on leadership roles in their communities and become active citizens.
Mobility and Learning Process (Total 2 Weeks):
Pre-Mobility Phase:
• Online opening meeting with all participants
• Intercultural preparation and expectation management
• Creation of digital portfolios including personal migration and career stories
• Formation of international thematic groups (access to education, youth employment, digital skills, youth rights, etc.)
Week 1 – Turkey Mobility: Urban Refugee Life and Youth Empowerment
(Host Country: Turkey)
• City Tour and Local Visits: Exploring living conditions of refugee and migrant communities in Istanbul
• Career and Skills Workshops: Practical sessions on CV writing, interview skills, and digital job search
• Group Work: Developing solutions to key challenges faced by migrant youth
• Peer-to-Peer Sessions: Sharing personal stories, support systems, and cultural experiences
• Cultural Activities: Engaging in Turkish traditions, arts, and cuisine
• Reflection and Sharing: Discussions on empowerment, resilience, and lessons learned
Week 2 – France Mobility: Integration and Social Cohesion in Europe
(Host Country: France)
• Career Development Workshops: Exploring integration pathways and job market access in Europe
• Cultural Awareness Training: Identity, inclusion, and belonging through interactive activities
• Local Visits: Meeting NGOs working on integration and youth support
• Mentoring Circles: Guided sessions where participants share career advice and strategies
• Cultural Events: Discovering French culture through music, cuisine, and city tours
• Closing and Planning: Evaluation, impact reflection, and future collaboration planning
Post-Mobility Phase:
• Digital Peer Career Guide: Compilation of insights and experiences from all six countries
• Local Multiplier Events: Participants will deliver presentations/workshops in their home communities
• Online Solidarity Network: Sustained digital platform for continued interaction and mentoring
• Peer Mentorship Framework: Participants matched across borders for long-term peer support
