CARE – Climate Awareness and Resilience Education

The CARE Project aims to strengthen teachers’ and educators’ competencies in climate literacy in order to enhance awareness and resilience against climate change. Aligned with the European Green Deal, the Paris Agreement, the UNFCCC, and the 6th Environmental Action Programme, CARE promotes education as a key driver for climate action and sustainable transformation. For the VR work package, we are currently seeking partners experienced in the development and implementation of immersive Virtual Reality environments for educational purposes. This work package focuses on leveraging VR technologies to design interactive, experience-based learning tools that enhance teachers’ and students’ engagement with climate-related topics. In addition, we are looking for a university partner with competencies in climate education and curriculum development.
