CARBON FOOTPRINT - KA152 PROJECT

For each everyday object (from mobile phones to t-shirts) the project explains how much CO2 could be saved by making the choice to reuse. (Carbon footprint).
This interactive project aims at environmental dissemination and is aimed at showing the environmental value of reuse - and at the same time - at making people aware of the environmental footprint of objects: within the overall environmental footprint, the carbon footprint is often the most important share, and it is an impact item more relevant than ever, considering that CO2eq emissions are the main cause of anthropogenic climate warming.

Objectives:

1. Promoting cultural diversity and interaction with young people from different countries, through non-formal learning activities
2. Promoting the values of European citizenship, with focus on Green Deal, and inclusion through activities based on the concept of non-formal education
3. Increasing knowledge of industrial processes for production of everyday objects (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
4. Raising awareness of the environmental impact of CO2 on our planet
5. Stimulating participants to practice and spread the culture of reuse of material things.
