We are looking for partners located along the Danube River for implementation on environmental education, civic engagement, and youth participation.
Institute Perspectives is seeking 4 partner organizations from countries located along the Danube River to collaborate in the implementation of an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange under the accredited KA1 framework, focused on environmental education, civic engagement, and youth participation.
This project is designed to respond to the barriers faced by young people in exercising their rights to expression, information, education, and civic involvement. It seeks to develop youth leadership through experiential learning in nature, promote ecological responsibility, and strengthen transnational cooperation in the context of Bulgaria and Romania’s integration into the Schengen Area (effective from 1 July 2025).

Policy Context & Strategic Relevance
This project addresses the need to empower young people to be active citizens, understand their rights, and contribute to sustainable democratic societies. The exchange will also serve as a pilot space for cross-border youth initiatives between Bulgaria and Romania post-Schengen integration, leveraging shared natural resources, civic institutions, and EU funding instruments (e.g. LIFE, Interreg, Horizon Europe).
