SAFER HOMES,STROMGER COMMUNITIES
Earthquakes are among the most destructive natural disasters, causing loss of life, widespread damage, and long-term economic challenges. Their unpredictability makes them especially dangerous, requiring preparedness at all levels individuals, communities, and governments. Many regions across the world experience frequent seismic activity, highlighting the need for strategies that reduce risks and enhance response capabilities.
The Mediterranean region, in particular, has seen several devastating earthquakes in recent years. Many countries around the mediterranean region experienced seismic events that led to significant casualties and infrastructure damage. Given the region's geological characteristics, earthquake preparedness and response mechanisms are crucial to minimizing disaster impact.
