SUMA seeks youth organisations to join five KA154 projects (fashion, euro coins, EU institutions, responsible consumption, and participatory budgeting).
SUMA - Association for Sustainable Development is an experienced youth-led organisation from Croatia that has developed 5 KA154 projects (out of 6 submitted) so far. Please take a look at our Instagram profile and what we do: https://www.instagram.com/udrugasuma/
We are looking for reliable, committed, and professional organisations that are ready to act as applicants for the following KA154 projects:
1) Tailored for young persons: Making sustainability fashionable
A KA154 project on fast fashion and responsible fashion practices for young people. The project consists of one preparatory mobility, local activities in two countries (fast fashion workshops on how to read labels, fashion ethics, and the supply chain, as well as fashion swap events), and one final mobility in the form of a fashion show where young people, together with decision-makers, walk in second-hand fashion outfits, alongside a panel on fast fashion and how young people can make sustainability-friendly fashion choices.
2) EuroTalks
A KA154 project on euro coins as a tool for learning about EU values and common history (each eurozone country has regular and commemorative coins). The project starts with a euro coin meetup (a five-day mobility plus two travel days, with 16 young people from two countries), followed by local Eurohunt workshops, local exhibitions of “hunted” euro coins, and a meetup with European Central Bank officials in Frankfurt (three days plus two travel days).
3) Meet your MP
A KA154 project that connects young people from two countries (6 per country, 12 in total) who travel to Brussels and Strasbourg to meet their national MPs and their teams, to gain insight into the functioning of the EU. They create vlogs during the trips, and then, through local activities, they organise a series of debates on the future of Europe with their peers in their home countries. The project closes with a closing conference in one of the participating countries, where experiences are shared, and MPs (or their representatives) take part in a round-table on the civic education of young people on the EU.
4) Shoppinghology: Young people as responsible consumers
A KA154 project that turns young people into detectives who take a close look at their consumer habits and product labels. They get to know “bio”, “eco”, “fair trade”, and other labels. The project starts with local workshops on sustainable consumption, and the most motivated participants will be selected to take part in a mobility (seven days plus two travel days, 10 per country) exploring more advanced concepts of responsible consumption. When they get back home, they will deliver a small workshop in pairs with their peers.
5) BUDGET4YOUth: Participatory budgeting for youth participation
A KA154 project on participatory budgeting for young people. The project has a parallel structure, with local activities in two participating countries (workshops and simulations of budget decision-making), and one study visit where young people and decision-makers will travel to a city in another country (different from the two participating countries) that is an example of good practice in youth participatory budgeting. For this project, we would like to find a third partner that can host the study visit.
IMPORTANT: We would like to discourage organisations that are not genuinely working with young people, that are not available for online meetings, that are not responsive, and that have no touchpoints with the project topics presented below, from reaching out to us. We are only interested in organisations with a track record of projects, and that have active social media accounts, either on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook.
We encourage you to provide us with the following information: 1) PIF (latest version); 2) a short motivation and relevant experience; 3) links to your social media and website (if you have not posted for more than two months, please provide reasons for that). Please reach out to us at info@udrugasuma.hr.
The deadline for application is January 23, 2026, 17:00 CET.
Once selected, you can expect an online meeting to follow shortly, where all details, together with a template partnership agreement (with all details regarding responsibilities and financial matters), will be discussed.
