Call for Lead Applicant: Lifewide Mobile Learning (Erasmus+ KA220)

Erasmus+ KA220 project developing and piloting mobile micro-learning and lifewide learning pathways to engage low-skilled and hard-to-reach adults.

Lifewide Learning in Adult Education is a 24-month Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership (KA220) aiming to make adult learning more flexible, accessible and inclusive for adults who are currently underrepresented in education and training.

Many adults face barriers to participation in adult education due to irregular work schedules, care responsibilities, low confidence, geographic isolation or limited access to learning centres. At the same time, learning increasingly takes place outside formal classrooms, in everyday contexts such as work, home, community spaces and through mobile devices. Adult education systems often struggle to recognise and build on this lifewide learning.

The project responds by developing and piloting a Lifewide Mobile Learning Model, combining:

-mobile-first micro-learning modules (5–15 minutes),
-flexible learning pathways across everyday contexts,
-community-based reflection and support,
-recognition of non-formal and informal learning through digital badges and learner portfolios.

Key activities include the co-design of the learning model, development of mobile micro-learning content and educator training materials, piloting “Learning Anywhere Labs” in 4–5 partner countries, and the production of a European Toolkit and policy recommendations.

We are currently seeking a coordinator/lead applicant, since the rest of the consortium has been completed.
