we are looking for Lead Organisations to jointly plan and implement projects aimed at strengthening educational institutions and raising awareness.
About Us
The Young Pedagogues’ Union (YPU) has been working since 1996 to improve mechanisms for protecting the social and educational rights and interests of vulnerable populations in Georgia. Our mission is to foster a society with strong civic awareness and encourage individuals to participate actively in civic processes.
From 2020 to 2023, YPU implemented 10 projects with financial support and partnerships from organizations such as the European Union in Georgia, CENN, Bread for the World, CSRDG, USAID, SOS Children’s Villages, UNAG, OSGF, WECF, and UNDP.
Experience
One of YPU’s key focus areas is strengthening democratic institutions within educational establishments. The goal of this component is to promote the active participation of parents, students, and communities in educational reforms and school management processes.
The organization has significant expertise and experience working with schools in the Guria region, having collaborated with nearly 50 schools over the years. Additionally, for the past five years, YPU has been actively involved in strengthening preschool education institutions.
Through its consultation and support program, YPU focuses on:
Enhancing management practices within educational institutions.
Promoting a positive organizational culture.
Creating inclusive environments that engage teachers, students, and parents to the fullest extent.
Partnership Proposal
Our organization continually seeks to learn from European approaches and best practices while sharing its own experiences. Within the framework of the Erasmus program, we are looking for partners to jointly plan and implement projects aimed at strengthening educational institutions and raising awareness.
We aim to identify structured ways to achieve common goals, leverage diverse perspectives, and develop impactful initiatives by sharing resources and expertise. Furthermore, we are eager to learn from European practices regarding resource allocation among government, non-governmental, and business sectors.
