The Partner-Finding Tool
Main goal of the project is to create a group of European fresh pasta artisans to facilitate entry into the world of work for children with autism
In Europe, to date, there are no universal strategies for integrating people with disabilities into the labor market, putting this group at greater risk of social exclusion. People with disabilities, and especially young people entering the labor market for the first time, face many barriers, which are already visible at the recruitment stage and continue during apprenticeship or employment, if they even make it to this stage. There are virtually no qualified job offers for young people with disabilities, and they are pushed into less ambitious, unskilled and underpaid jobs; therefore, there are not many prospects for stable employment and the risk of not being able to actively participate in society is very high. An additional problem is the low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence that affect so many young people with disabilities as a result of the surrounding society. The latter is accompanied by educational deficiencies, which cause further difficulties in the labor market.
Cala I fusilli, aims to promote the importance of employment and/or entrepreneurship for disabled and vulnerable people through integrated pathways aimed at employment inclusion.
Specifically, Young people with disabilities will go to learn about fresh pasta typical of the tradition of the countries involved. They will have to learn the processing of fresh pasta and bring this knowledge back to their home country
The action plan will be designed to provide an opportunity for exchange and growth for both the people involved (teachers, operators) and the beneficiaries of the project. Thus, the goal of the project is to promote and strengthen the culture of solidarity and inclusion in work.
