Bytes & Rights: Cyber-Safety and AI Tools for Inclusion

In today’s digital landscape, young people are constantly exposed to AI-generated content, sophisticated algorithms, and online risks.

Activity Type: KA152-YOU - Mobility of youth workers (Training Course)

Context & Objective: In today’s digital landscape, young people are constantly exposed to AI-generated content, sophisticated algorithms, and online risks. Unfortunately, many youth workers lack the technical and pedagogical tools to guide them safely.

"Bytes & Rights" is a 7-day training course designed for youth workers, leaders, and educators. The project aims to bridge this gap by focusing on three main pillars:

Cyber-Safety: Practical cybersecurity for NGOs, data privacy, and preventing cyberbullying/online hate speech.

Media Literacy & AI Ethics: Recognizing deepfakes, disinformation, and understanding AI biases that affect marginalized youth.

AI for Inclusion: Learning how to ethically use AI tools (like ChatGPT, Canva, etc.) to adapt educational materials and make youth work more accessible for young people with fewer opportunities.

The methodology is strictly based on Non-Formal Education (NFE), including simulation games, interactive workshops, and co-creation sessions.
