BURGOS 2021: Our Heritage, Our Future

The choice of deepening into this topic comes from that in 2021 the city of Burgos will celebrate the 800th anniversary of its cathedral. Anniversaries of historical, social and cultural events allow us to preserve its memory but they help, above all, to give us the awareness of where we come from and where are we going, so of who we are. Young people often do not take part on these events, because very rarely they are given the opportunity to express themselves, to learn and to be personally involved.
Understanding where we come from is an opportunity for them to define where we will go for a great and united Europe in its beautiful diversity, and that is the reason why we want to establish partnerships and work to create opportunities where youngsters can learn about their past and present to more easily project their future.
