Building Bridges - Connecting with Marginalized Youth

The project aims to empower youth workers to build bridges and connect with marginalized young people.

The project aims to empower youth workers to build bridges and connect with marginalized young people, fostering inclusivity, understanding, and social justice. Participants will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to address the unique challenges faced by marginalized youth and create supportive, empowering environments.
Is an 5 day Training Course that gathers 35 young participants from 7 different countries and creates a multicultural environment to raise the competences of youth workers.

Problem:
Youth workers often face challenges in understanding and addressing the needs of marginalized groups. They lack guidance and support in developing inclusive programs that cater to the diverse needs of all young people. Additionally, weak partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders can hinder efforts to address the specific challenges faced by marginalized youth and promote social inclusion. Furthermore, limited advocacy for policy changes that support the inclusion and well-being of marginalized young people can create barriers to progress.

Objectives:
To promote a shared commitment among youth workers to creating safe, welcoming, and equitable spaces for all young people;
To equip youth workers with the tools to address the needs of marginalized young people;
To cultivate a global perspective among youth workers, fostering empathy, respect, and effective communication across cultural boundaries;
To equip youth workers with the knowledge and skills to advocate for social justice and challenge systemic inequalities that affect marginalized young people.
To integrate environmental education and sustainability principles into youth work programs, empowering young people to contribute to a more sustainable future.
To empower youth workers to help marginalized young people access digital technologies and develop the skills necessary to participate fully in the digital age.
