We are seeking motivated partner organizations from Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Ireland to join our upcoming Youth Exchange project in Hamburg, Germany.
Our project, "Building Bridges, Connecting Cultures," aims to tackle the social isolation and stereotypes faced by young people, particularly those with migration or refugee backgrounds. By using creative expression and non-formal learning, we want to empower youth to become "leaders of change" in their local communities.
Activity Details
-Activity Type: KA152-YOU - Mobility of young people.
-Location: Hamburg, Germany.
-Duration: 7 days of physical activity (excluding travel days).
-Participants: 8 participants per country (7 youth + 1 group leader).
-Themes: Social inclusion, migration, art as a tool for integration, and civic leadership.
Participant Profile
We are looking for participants who meet the following criteria:
-Age: 18–30 years old.
-Background: Youth interested in social empowerment, with a priority on those from marginalized or migrant backgrounds (participants with fewer opportunities).
-Gender Balance: Each national group must maintain an equal ratio of male and female participants.
Draft Program Highlights
The 7-day program includes interactive sessions such as:
-The Hamburg Mosaic: Mapping multicultural history and migrant heritage.
-Living Library: Sharing personal stories to break stereotypes.
-Creative Bridges: Workshops on art as a tool for social integration.
-Dialogue Forum: Interacting with local NGOs and youth workers.
-Cultural Festival: A public exhibition of the art created during the project.
