Building a Theory of Change in Euro-Mediterranean communities

To enhance the socio-professional capacity of youth workers to develop community based projects through theory of change

The project aims to engage youth workers as responsible social actors and agents for change in their local community contexts and work with disadvantaged young people. Through a non-formal and creative learning process youth workers will be equipped with key competences and practical tools related to the ‘Theory of change” as a way to co-develop community-based projects targeting disadvantaged young people. Participants will be engaged to analyse complex problems in their local/regional communities and to develop social projects by applying and putting into practice “the theory of change”.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
- To enhance the socio-professional capacity of youth workers to develop community based projects by putting into a practice the theory of change in their local daily work with disadvantaged young people.

RESULTS
- Equipped youth workers with knowledge, employable skills & creative tools related to the theory of change & development of community based-projects that can be integrated in their work with disadvantaged young people.
- Developed a cross-cultural understanding of different youth work experiences & young people challenges and needs in EU & South Mediterranean countries.
- Increased cooperation and facilitated opportunities for networking between youth workers and organizations from EU & South Mediterranean countries.
