Broken Windows

Although European countries have developed instruments for the protection of Human Rights, the latest years registered an increase in terms of discrimination.

Therefore, considering this alarming situation, COSI together with the partner organizations aims to increase the level of non-discriminatory behaviours on the basis of ethnicity by reaching the following objectives:

1. Empowering 800 young people aged 15-24 from the partners’ communities who are facing discrimination by raising awareness about political and legal instruments, in force at the international and national level, concerning the protection of minority rights during the dissemination stage;

2. Increasing the competencies of 24 youth workers dealing with youngsters who face ethnic discrimination in 9 days of mobility by exchanging good practices which they will use in their daily work;

3. Developing an efficient network of 4 EU and 4 Non-EU organizations through the creation of a common sharing space on social media platforms, where to exchange experiences and daily practices throughout the 1 year project period.
