Bridging Time: Fostering Historical Empathy Through Shared Narratives Across Cultures

We are a high school based in Istanbul, Turkey. The aim of our project is to enhance the historical empathy skills of youths and coping with anti-discrimination. We are looking for a school that will host 10 of our students, aged 14-18, and 3 teachers. Following this, we plan to host our partner school in Turkey and carry out the same activities, thus completing our project.

We would like to initially carry out this project with a school from one of the following countries: Italy, Austria, Romania, or Hungary. We are also open to collaborating with schools from different European countries, Our goal is to explore the historical ties between the country of our partner school and Turkey, and to foster historical empathy by visiting historical sites in the partner country.
