New partnerships for the design and implementation of European youth projects related to migration and the refugee crisis
Bridges of inclusion
The project Bridges of Inclusion is an international mobility project that will bring together youth leaders and youth workers from 14 different European countries with aim to create opportunities for new partnerships for the design and implementation of European youth projects related to migration and the refugee crisis;
The specific objectives of the project are:
• Understand migration flows and the refugee crisis in the different local and national contexts;
• Mapping the needs, constraints and obstacles young refugees face in Europe
• To exchange good practices, research and methodologies on inclusive education and participation that can be applied to the current challenges
• To design together projects/ Erasmus+ proposals.
Duration of project: 6 months (1 September 2018 - 28 February 2019)
Activities:
The project consists of one partnership building activity that will contain also training features and collaborative learning. (Exact activity dates to be decided) (Takes place in Athens, Greece)
Participants:
Each partner organization should select 3 participants. Participants should be 1 representative of the organization responsible for decision making and directly working in project design and management, one representative of the organization youth worker or youth leader working directly with young people. 1 Young person with fewer opportunity (immigrant or refugee or similar)
Partners Profiles:
The project will involve 14 partners from: Erasmus plus programme Countries.
We are looking for organizations that:
• Are currently working directly with young refugees or immigrants or have a plan to start working in the near future
• Are willing to actively contribute to the success of this project and participate actively in all stages of the project from application, to preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow up.
• Are willing and have the ability to contribute to the dissemination of the project results in their local, national and european networks.
• Are willing to lead or participate in future projects that will follow up this one in this specific topic
