Breaking the Cycle of Addiction and Violence: Raising Awareness with Youth

We aim to empower youth to address the link between addiction and gender-based violence through awareness, solutions, and international cooperation.

This project aims to highlight the link between alcohol and drug addiction and gender-based violence, while encouraging young people to play an active role in addressing these challenges. Coordinated by the Probation Directorate, the initiative seeks to raise awareness among youth and provide them with opportunities to design concrete solutions.

The activities will include youth workshops, awareness campaigns, events that build bridges between probation services and young people, and opportunities for international exchange of experiences. In this way, participants will not only gain knowledge but also become active citizens capable of making a difference in their communities.

Expected outputs of the project include awareness-raising materials created by young people (short films, social media content, manifestos), training modules for professionals, and a collection of best practices to be shared with international partners. By giving a platform to youth voices, the project aims to contribute significantly to preventing gender-based violence and tackling addiction.
