  • Health problems
Target Groups The primary target group consists of **young people aged 12–30** who spend long periods in front of screens in their daily lives (students, young adults and young workers) and who lead a **sedentary lifestyle**. These individuals do not have clinical diagnoses but may experience **postural strain, musculoskeletal discomfort, mental fatigue, stress and reduced physical activity levels** due to prolonged screen use. The secondary target group includes **sports coaches, youth workers, volunteers and staff of sports clubs**, who will be responsible for applying, adapting and disseminating the sport-based wellbeing practices developed within the project. Indirect target groups are **families, educational institutions, youth centres, sports clubs, NGOs and local authorities**, who will benefit from increased awareness and the dissemination of project outcomes. Needs of the Project There is a clear need for **preventive and non-clinical sport-based wellbeing approaches** that address the negative effects of prolonged screen time among young people. The project responds to the lack of **simple, accessible and daily-life-oriented physical activity practices** that young people can integrate independently into their routines. The project requires: * Capacity building for coaches and youth workers on **movement awareness, posture awareness and active lifestyle promotion**; * Development of **easy-to-use, short and inclusive sport-based physical activity routines** that do not involve medical treatment or rehabilitation; * Exchange of **good practices at European level** on combating sedentary behaviour through sport; * Support for **motivation, behaviour change and awareness-raising**, encouraging young people to perceive physical activity as a natural part of everyday life rather than a medical or therapeutic intervention; * Dissemination tools and visibility actions to ensure that the developed methods reach young people, sports organisations and youth stakeholders. --- ## **KA210 Compliance Note** The project **does not provide clinical or medical rehabilitation** and does not include diagnosis or treatment. It focuses exclusively on **sport-based, preventive and wellbeing-oriented physical activity practices** that are simple, inclusive and accessible for young people.
