Birthwise: Empowering Youth Workers through Digital Education

Our project aims to strengthen the digital competences, inclusive methods, and intercultural learning capacities of health professionals working with young people (doctors, midwives, psychologists, health educators). In this framework, an international professional development mobility with 27 participants is planned.

Prior to the activity, online preparatory meetings will be held, and the main activity will consist of a 7-day training course. The course will be based on non-formal learning methods, including workshops, group work, case studies, and intercultural exchange sessions. Participants will also produce digital materials and learn how to share them through a web-based platform.

At the end of the project, participants will transfer their learning to their colleagues in their organisations through workshops and seminars, while project results will be made openly accessible. In this way, both individual and organisational capacities will be strengthened, and the quality of services provided to young mothers and young people will be improved.

Our project, in line with the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, digitalisation, and innovation, aims to create a lasting impact in the field of youth work.
