In 2015 LMS organizes Birštonas Summer Arts Academy (BVMA). The BVMA project is a unique platform bringing together music professionals from various artistic fields. In this event master classes and workshops for young artists from Lithuania and abroad will take place openly involving all layers of society. The main aim of this project is to bring young international musicians for improving their qualifications, interdisciplinary skills, knowledge sharing and collaboration under the unifying theme of theatricality in music. During the evening time various performances will be held to show what was learned during the day. The Academy will consist of master classes, educational seminars and rehearsals – all open to public. During the workshops participants will not only create music, but also experiment with various elements for their concerts, such as costumes, decorations and dance. The project will take place in Birstonas, a cozy resort town, with its unique nature and authentic cultural lifestyle.
