BioHackers is an youth exchange project to discover potential of bio-based materials. By focusing on organic waste streams, participants will engage in a bio-design sprint to uncover innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

This project aims to increase STEM skills among young people, inspire youth with the solutions of nature, and contribute to the fight against climate change.

The target group of this project includes young people that want to learn more about bio-based economy and get inspired by solutions that nature offers. These can be HE or VET biology students that want to apply their skills to the real world or other young people that want to explore the field. The age of the target group is 21-25 years old, but exceptions can be made for 18-30 depending on the motivation.
