Beyond the Trails: Professional Mobility in Cycling, Skiing, and Canyoning

Project Summary & Concept
Our sport organization is preparing a KA182-SPO (Sport Staff Mobility) application. We are actively looking for reliable Hosting Partners (sport clubs, outdoor centers, ski schools, or federations) to organize a Study Visit / Job Shadowing experience for our professional sports staff and coaches.

The main objective of this mobility is to exchange best practices, learn innovative coaching methodologies, and study international safety protocols in three core outdoor sport sectors:

Cycling & Active Mobility: Group coaching techniques, trail management, and community-building programs.

Ski Instruction: Modern pedagogical approaches for different age groups, adaptive skiing techniques, and winter resort safety.

Canyoning: Advanced technical skills, risk assessment, eco-responsible guiding, and rescue operations in moving water environments.

Objectives & Expected Activities During the Study Visit
Methodological Exchange: Observing training sessions and learning how European partners structure their seasonal sports programs.

Safety & Risk Management: Studying European standards for equipment safety, weather monitoring, and crisis intervention in high-risk outdoor activities (especially canyoning and skiing).

Eco-Sport Practices: Learning how to promote outdoor sports while minimizing environmental impact (sustainability in nature).

Networking: Building a long-term strategic partnership for future European sport projects and joint youth sport camps.

Ideal Hosting Partner Profile
We are looking for registered Sport Clubs, NGOs, Ski/Outdoor Academies, or Commercial Sport Centers that have extensive experience in running professional programs in at least one (ideally more) of our target fields:

Role: The hosting partner will be responsible for co-designing the study visit program, hosting our staff for 5–10 days, providing mentorship, and signing the Erasmus+ learning agreement. All financial costs (travel, accommodation, organizational support) will be fully covered by our Erasmus+ grant.
