CONTEXT

Vocational Training includes a range of training activities that enable qualified performance of diverse professions, access to employment and active participation in social, cultural and economic life.
In Spain, vocational training titles are grouped into 26 professional families, what must respond to the needs demanded by the businesses and same productive activity.
The implementation of last reforms have involved many changes. One of them is the modification of the eight basic skills curriculum, which become seven renamed core competencies. Thus, it conforms to European framework.
The offer currently includes several cross-FP modules to all titles that aim to address such key skills such as preparing students towards their subsequent employment, provide practical knowledge of the business world (training in the workplace , or training and Career Counseling) as well as others related to promoting entrepreneurship (business and entrepreneurship), but no specific training modules or other key skills such as digital, and other relevant related to current business reality.
Companies are in a changing environment in all areas, both in technology as management systems, and should be adapted as quickly as possible to new situations and surroundings to remain competitive and efficient in the markets in which operate.
These and other factors determine which are producing substantial changes in their corporate culture. Thus, there are new approaches to management where business interests, such as the continuous improvement of products, processes and generally all systems, in

which technology and quality management, environmental focus and the occupational health of workers, among others, have much to do.
Any company needs workers with knowledge and skills in all this and for any job, and the Vocational Training should be able to meet this demand.

PROJECT GOALS

The final project goal would be to strengthen digital literacy and multilingualism, as well as other relevant and transferable skills as would be the concern for quality, environment and occupational health, among vocational training students, through the design and validation of most innovate methods and tools that teachers may use in teaching the different cycles.

Activities to be delivered in a transnational context

• Creation of a strategical association involving at least three partners from 3 different countries
• Sharing best practices in addressing this need in different countries.
• Allowing young students learn about other cultures and improving social skills, civic, intercultural and media literacy included in the Paris Declaration.
• Transnational mobility of teachers and / or students from different training centres and acting also on improving training for the independence of these young people, and improving the training of trainers.
• Transnational training activities using virtual platforms for teachers and / or students (through webinars, etc.) to improve integration in the digital age and improving the training of trainers.
• Design and validation of innovative methods and tools for teachers to meet required training needs at key business areas such as ICT, quality, environment and occupational health.
All activities will be in English and / or in the different languages of participating countries
