„Become a mentor”

The training course “Become a mentor” will run in Daugavpils 21.11.2016. – 30.11.2016. (10 days). The main project themes are Social dialogue and Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy). As the working methods will be used workshops, excursions, ice-breaking activities, discussions, work in pairs, interviews of project participants, presentations etc.
During the project activities youth workers will have an opportunity to get to know the culture of European countries, to get to know Latvia and how to be a good mentor, what kind of methods and activities are important to use in mentor’s work, how to reach the wide impact in mentorship.

Objectives
- to promote learning of mentors and youth workers and give them the knowledge on how to work with different target groups in the activities more effectively;
- to provide the participants to communicate with each other in the non-formal atmosphere;
- to create the ability of participants to listen the opinions of other people and express their own opinions;
- to promote the participants’ cooperation and tolerance.
