"BE SMART. Coaching Tools for Youth Employment"

Our project “BE SMART” is focussed to youth workers, with the main aim of providing useful and practical tools for youth unemployment, training on personal development, entrepreneurship and problem solving from a Coaching approach.

We believe that the actual European scenario demands new transversal skills, such as emotional and stress management, team work, effective problem solving and flexibility. In this context, EFIC is ready to establish new partnerships and to share its expertise on human resources with other European public and private bodies.

Our purpose is networking and exchanging good practices through a training course that will be celebrated in Seville, involving young entrepreneurs from the local area ready for leading the change.

Under this frame, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs AJE (Asociación Jóvenes Empresarios Sevilla) and Coaching Business Solutions EFIC (Escuela de Formación Integral en Coaching) established a partnership that will be in charge of organizing a training course and a final conference in Andalusia.

In this closing conference different entrepreneurs from the local, national and European scenarios, will exchange their ideas, tools and good practices in the fields of entrepreneurship and youth employment.

THEMES: Personal development, emotional management, effective problem solving and proactive attitudes transferable to young unemployed and job seekers. The main aim is not only releasing their potential through a smart use of the resources available, but also developing new resources in the field of job placement through international exchanges and peer learning.

OBJECTIVE: To provide new and updated skills for individual job search and placement from a Coaching approach that could be transferred on a European level.

ACTIVITIES: Presential training course and final conference about good practices exchange on a European level. Methods and contents will be facilitated in a no-formal and proactive setting, using a “learn by doing” approach, individual and group dynamics, role playing and problem solving.

OUTCOMES: Change of attitudes, emotional and stress management, self esteem, increase of a proactive job search, self employment for job seekers who need short & middle term solutions. All these items will be evaluated by a pre-post assessment test.
