Project Aim: To enhance local youth work quality by leveraging innovative international practices in the fight against addiction.
Hello everyone,
We, the Adana Guidance and Rehabilitation Closed Penal Institution, located in Adana, in the south of Turkey, are launching a call for project partnership. Our institution accommodates incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders and holds a single, pioneering mission in this field across Turkey. The core objective of our institution is to empower individuals with addiction physically, psychologically, and socially, thereby preventing them from re-offending and successfully reintegrating them into society as healthy, productive members. In line with these goals, treatment, rehabilitation, and social adaptation processes are conducted through a holistic approach.
The Adana Guidance and Rehabilitation Closed Penal Institution is actively seeking experienced international partners for an Erasmus+ KA153 (Youth Workers Mobility) project, which aims to enhance the capacity of our expert staff in the rehabilitation and integration of incarcerated individuals with substance use disorders. In order to learn best practices and implementation in this field, we seek cooperation for Job Shadowing (observation) activities with Youth NGOs and Associations, Public Institutions, Prisons or Probation Units, Education Providers, Healthcare Institutions, and Rehabilitation Centers that are responsible for working with individuals at risk of social exclusion, focusing on personal development, social reintegration, and/or cooperation with persons deprived of their liberty.
