BACK TO THE NATURE

In order to break free from the chains of the city life and technology we have decided to go back to the nature.

The aim of our project is, in the days of our lives, technology seized control of us and people forgot that we are actually part of the nature. We would like to remind our participants that adapting to the nature is not so hard. In our activities they will see that nature is something essential for us. We are planning to take our participants to the nature in order to set up a camp. During the camp process, we aim that engraining love of nature, establishing team spirit and living outside of the technological life and realizing what we are missing by ignoring and neglecting nature. In order to reach those targets we have a number of activities and these are;
Before camping, the city, beauties of the Yalova and museums will be seen.
Every morning, tracking activities with a guide in the short paths of nature will be organized.
Orienteering sport
Gathering fruits and vegetables with the villagers .
Learning how to live among the nature with the knowledge of a guide .
Visiting Yalova’s forests, mountains, waterfalls and endemic plants .
Gathering aromatic plants and flowers for making tea .
All of our recyclable wastes will be collected during the camp and statistical data will be announced at the end of the camp. Also, paper waste will be taken to a paper museum of İbrahim Müteferrika and those will be reproduced by participants as new papers.
Accompanying villagers in their lives and introduce village life such as gathering eggs from chicken coop, working on a farm and milking the cows. Also, we will learn how to weaving carpet, visiting bees in their own habitat as known as beekeeping and jewellery making.
Every country’s participants will have a night to introduce their cultures to each other.
Making conversations about our own countries’ problems to each other and form solutions around campfire
Introducing horse riding which is a Turkish tradition to our guests.
Stargazing
Construct a shelter with the materials from the nature.
After the camp, plant young trees to the place we had camped.

Project will be organized for 8 days at the 07-14 August. Ages of the participants are needed to be between 18-25 but leaders will not have a limit based on age.
4 countries will participate to our project. (4 participants and 1 leader.)
Camping time will be 4 days 3 nights.
Aims for the end of the project
Our participants will see that how good is the nature for both their minds and the body’s.
Realize the generosity of the nature what we had ignored while living in cities surrounded by technology.
Convey our different cultures to each other and develop team spirit.
We aim to create an awareness to the problems we pointed out and after the project we want our participants to continue our work in their countries.
