Back to Basics

Back to Bascis is all about communication & cooperation while learning on how to take initiative and increase the sense of entrepreneurship

For an already approved exchange within our Erasmus+ accreditation annual plan, we have a great proposal.

For many years we are organsing our annual Back to Bascis exchange in Ommen, The Netherlands. We are looking for a fresh new partner who is a new organisation in the world of Erasmus+ youth exchanges and who never participated in an exchange before, coming from one of the mentioned countries since we already have 9 partners with whom we worked for many years.

The exchange will take place in August for 15 working days in group accommodation Olde Vechte in the town of Ommen. In total there will be 57 participants in the exchange and we ask of you as a partner to send 4 youngsters + 1 leader.

Prior to the exchange there is a preparation meeting for 1 group leader and 1 youngster in the weekend of 16 + 17 June.

We are giving high preference to youngsters coming from rural areas who are low educated and having other difficulties in life. The age group we are looking for are youngsters aged between 15 - 21.

During the exchange we will do various assignments and activities which will increase the communication & cooperation skills of the youngsters as well as making them become more independent & autonomous. Basically the youngsters are accountable for doing everything in the exchange, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.

The highlight of the exchange will be a 3 day outdoor in which youngsters travel throughout the surrounding of Ommen with no money, phone and food.
