ASED Agadir seeks Programme Country consortia for October Erasmus+ calls as a benefiary, not as a lead applicant .

Association Assafaa pour l'Environnement et le Développement (ASED) is an active youth organization based in Agadir, Morocco. We focus on youth empowerment, environmental protection, arts and culture, active citizenship, social inclusion, digital transition, and Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.

This call is for youth organizations based in the 33 EU Member States and Programme Countries looking to expand project consortia for October Erasmus+ calls. These include KA1 youth mobilities, KA2 partnerships, and other open actions. Organizations from Partner Countries do not need to send direct requests. However, if you already have a lead applicant from a Programme Country, we can discuss hosting activities in Morocco.

We are open to projects on various topics as long as participants are 18 and older. We are especially interested in environmental protection at the intersection with arts, digital transformation, and the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. This includes youth facing social, economic, or geographical obstacles, as well as cultural differences and linguistic minorities.

ASED Agadir is part of several consortia awaiting funding decisions or implementation. However, we are still available for strong new projects for the October deadline. We offer experienced youth workers, active networks, and full commitment to local follow-up.

Important Note on Hosting and Selection:
Moroccan organizations cannot act as lead applicants for European funding calls under Erasmus+ rules. If your Programme Country organization needs an accessible venue for a training or youth exchange, we can serve as your local host in Agadir. Agadir offers great infrastructure and a smooth visa process for non-EU participants.

Young adults aged 18 and older from Agadir and surrounding communities in the Souss-Massa region. While many teenagers locally face similar obstacles, we strictly select participants who are 18 and older to comply with legal regulations and Erasmus+ guidelines. Many local youth face economic, social, and linguistic barriers, leaving them with very few opportunities to develop soft skills. Information about international projects rarely reaches them. Even when it does, some NGOs demand high participation fees or force youth to pay expensive membership fees with no real support, which creates an unfair barrier. This category of youth is large in our region. Even though we are near urban areas, we reach these participants through a strong network of local partner organizations. For example, we work with well-known partners like SOS Children's Village Agadir, where youth aging out of care at 18 urgently need active alternatives and support. Additionally, Agadir is part of the Amazigh (Berber) community, representing a specific linguistic background within Morocco. Full financial protection with zero participation or hidden membership fees, clear mentorship, tailored language support (including local Tamazight context), and accessible logistics to guarantee equal participation in project activities and local follow-up.
