Art Time (Sanat Zamanı)

The project that we want to make between 07.09.2013/15.09.2013 will have 6 partners with Turkey and 30 young participants with the group leaders will take part in this project actively. During 9 days,the young participants will be brought together from different language,religion and culture and so we aim to improve and develop mutual tolerance and dialogue with the cultural and artistic activities.

Like in our country, traditional handicrafts have lost out to technology and industry and even some of them have changed or destroyed in our city.We enable the parcipitants to improve their hand skill and to create their own production with Turkish Paper Marbling and Woven Basket Knitting that fights to survive despite all these negative effects,a new painting technique-painting with Iron Powder-,Making Model Airplane and Ship and Workplace of Cloth and Paper Bag that contributes to recycling.

The participants come from the different cultures will look for their own cultural and artistic signs and they will provide culture of Europeanness by sharing their findings with the other participants.Each participant will take part actively and there will be a sense of respect,responsibilty,tolerance and Europeanness and so this will be an effect to prevent some negative features such as discrimination and ethnocentrism.
