Exchange of best practice between workers in social health and educational fields attention people at risk of exclusion paying attention to gender equality
The focus of this project is Art for social inclusion. A good practice exchange between social and youth workers. Engagement of high risk people in psychological distress. Gender equality will be a central concept, paying attention to women's empowerment, considering the prevention of gender-based violence and equal opportunities for women in work and social life as fundamental. The project aims to provide the appropriate training for youth workers to promote inclusive and welcoming practices, using non formal communication channels. Art can promote alternative and immediate communication styles, beyond the differences that depend on culture, gender, social background, psychological and physical abilities. Similarly, experiences of relationship with nature that promotes personal well-being enable the development of positive skills of interaction with oneself and others. Many concrete art products (collections of paintings and photographs, pictorial artworks, sculptures, performances, videos) will be created during the project to give our message of inclusion and equal rights a chance to be spread as widely as possible.
Due the purpose of the project is a good practices exchange, we are looking for partners that would promote Art and the relationship with nature as tools for social inclusion and wellbeing.
The project includes, as important and innovative formative moments, 3 ten days meetings, in which the participants experience many forms of arts and outdoor training.
