Art Act Together 2

After its success, Pro Loco association wants to propose again "Art Act Together 2 ", a project in support of intercultural dialogue and creativity between youth from different countries. It has been developed in 2009 and has had a big success among participants and local community. The main theme will be Art and Culture with particular attention paid to the tradition and the folklore of each country.
The initiative will be realize from 18-26 October 2014 in Sambuca di Sicilia, a little town in the South West of Sicily and it will involve 6 participants for each country (4 in total).
The programme foresees a combination of creative laboratories of art, theatre, music and dance, where young people worked in teams or together, with meetings, intercultural parties and games.
The exchange will have a double objective: through different types of art, the youth will be stimulate to the intercultural dialogue and to a major European awareness. The project also allow for each group to make a presentation on own culture and history to learn about other countries and appreciate value of different traditions.
